I keep getting a notification that my Adobe Flash player 16.0.0.305 need to update. But when I go check for updates there is not anything to update. Do I need to re install my Flash Player or is this a problem with Firefox? I would like to get rid of this message from popping up.
If you need to update Flash Player but you don’t see any available updates when you check, just download the updates or latest versions manually. The latest version at the moment is Adobe Flash Player 30.0.0.113.
Updates to the Flash Player plug-in are released regularly and if it is set to “Allow Adobe to install updates (recommended)”, updates to the Flash Player plug-in will be installed automatically and you will not be notified when new versions are available.
If you configured Adobe Flash Player to “Notify me to install updates”, you will be prompted when new versions are available but the updates will not be installed. You have to download and install them manually. If you set it to “Never check for updates (not recommended)”, you will not receive any notifications when new versions are available. You have to check for updates manually on the Adobe website.
