Hi there,

This error appeared when I tried to activate my Windows 7 and I don’t know how to fix it and also I don’t know how to activate my Windows. Please is someone available to help me to activate my Windows ? Why I have this error and why I cannot activate my Windows even if I followed the standard steps ?

The filename directory name or volume label syntax is incorrect 0x8007007B

This error appears when you try to activate your Windows 7 with the valid serial key after you've already installed the Service Pack 1 or allowed the Windows Update to install it silently in the background. To fix this problem, you need to uninstall Service Pack 1, disable automatic updates and activate your version of Windows 7. Alternatively, visit the official Microsoft Genuine Advantage plugin, install it, and refresh the page. Follow the instructions and you will activate your copy of Win7.
