Hi,

I am using Old version of Windows XP 32 bit and got this annoying error message when I tried to access a file from my directory. I could not understand the cause of this error. I need you help to fix this issue as soon as possible. Thanks in advance.

E:windowssystem32config is not accessible.

Hi Walter,
The error is because the file or directory you are searching is damaged or missing.
To solve this error follow the steps mentioned below:
1) Click 'Start', Click 'Run'
2) In the run box, type 'chkdsk/f <drive>', where <drive> is the letter of the drive where the files are damaged
3) Click 'OK'
4) The system will scan for the list of files that are damaged
5) Replace all the damaged files with the correct one present in the system
