How can I import a music file into a PowerPoint Presentation (2007 version) that can be heard over a number of different slides? Is this thing even possible?

Hello,
How to import a media file to a PowerPoint presentation:

On the Insert menu> Media Clips> Sound>Sound from File, Play CD Audio Track, or Record Sound.

After you have inserted the media (sound), choose the media object, and select Custom Animation on the Slide Show menu,

In the Custom Animation dialog box, click on the Timing tab and make sure that the media object is already selected.

Click the Play Settings tab. Select the Play Using Animation Order check box. After you make this selection, some additional options become available.

The Pause Slide Show option is selected by default. This setting allows the presentation to stop when the sound has finished playing or when the next slide is advanced.
To play media across multiple slides, select the Continue Slide Show option.
