File exported with QuickTime have codec premiere cs3 per file mov?

Hi,

I wanted to export my first project in Premiere CS3 as an AVI, however the options shown during export are only QuickTime, flash, or mpeg 2.

If I select QuickTime, will it encode with codec premiere cs3 per file mov?

Then, is there any app that I can use to convert the mov files to AVI?

Hello Lor10288,

I am confidently saying that there is no ultimate difference between MOV and AVI. AVI is just different file format intended for the other purposes. You are recommended to convert from MOV to AVI not because it is worse.

You'd better do it when the media player you use doesn't support the extension of the file.But MOV file takes huge space of the hard disk.
