Hi all
I have been a fifa player since a long time now and have been playing it on my system for quite long. Now since yesterday when I am trying to run FIFA09.exe shortcut, an error message appears on my screen and the game totally stops working. There is a blank screen with an error message on it. The screenshot of the error is attached below:

Hello,
First thing you need to do is to check for the graphic and video driver on your system.
This game requires graphic driver to be installed in order to run.
Try to update your graphic driver and check whether the problem is resolved.
Also, change your screen resolution to small size.
If the problem still persists then contact EA support.

The popped-up error only means that there could be something wrong with the application. We’re all aware that games are applications which can be corrupted within a period of time (especially if the game has been modified illegally). This application could be corrupted or (hopefully) just partially damaged. Looking through the error message you posted, it seems like it’s a start-up failure. Try removing the shortcut icon of the game and create a new shortcut. Then launch it again.
