What are beeps? From where the beeps are produced?

 

Hello Dear,

 

Computer has very intelligent technology.

 

Whenever the computer meets with tragic incident, then it tells the problem to user by itself.

 

This problem showing has two modes.

 

1. On screen display.

 

On screen display means, when user does any illegal task, then the computer warn him with an error message. User can see it on screen.

 

2. POST Beeps.

 

When the computer has no display at all, then it tells the problem to use in shape of beeps are produced by the POST (Power On Self Test).

 

Every problem has a different beep codes.

 

For example, if processor fails the 5 short beeps. If RAM fails then 2 or 3 or more long beeps etc.
