What are the significant features of an Android M as compared to Android Lollipop? Which of these two would be arguably the Google’s best new design and interface released? Are there any special features of Android Lollipop which happens not to have been included in the Android M features which per your view would have been a big plus?

The latest Android version is Android 5.0 Lollipop and now Google is working on a new Android operating system and they confirmed that Android M is Android 6.0 Marshmallow. They released the third and final version of the developer preview of Android M together with the Android 6.0 SDK. Currently, Google is not yet revealing the details for the release of the Android 6.0 Marshmallow.

But they did say that the release date would be “later this fall”. One of the updates to the new Android M are the updates to the Fingerprint API. With the new updates, it now allows better fingerprint enrollment experience, better error reporting, and enumeration support for greater reliability. The third and final version of the Android M developer preview is now available for selected Nexus devices: Nexus 5, Nexus 6, Nexus 9, and Nexus Player.

It can be obtained from Google’s Developer Preview page. To download, visit Android M Developer Preview 3.
