This is a different problem with AutoCAD and it is quite serious. Maybe this application already sustained several corrupted files that is why you are getting a fatal error and it immediately shuts down your machine. You may try uninstalling and then reinstalling the application and hope it works. This will restore its configurations back to default including some settings that you might have customized before.

If reinstalling it did not even help fix the problem, uninstall it completely then check your computer for any possible errors. Use a disk utility application to check the system. For a much thorough diagnostics on the system, use a disk utility application like Norton Utilities, Norton SystemWorks, or PC Tools Performance Toolkit. Install AutoCAD again afterwards.

You may also try upgrading your current version of AutoCAD to the latest version.
