Hi,

While sysprepping my golden image for my VDI collection I got the following error message. Now tell me how to fix this problem? Have any idea?

I will be really grateful to you.

Error Message: A fatal error occurred while trying to sysrep the machine.

Fatal error occurred with System Preparation Tool

Hi,
    The error explains itself as A fatal error.

Well the truth is that this error is ambiguous and can be caused due to many reasons. For example,

1. The software does not contain necessary files for its execution.
2. There is some bug that makes it break its execution.
3. The files required for the execution are being used by some other application.
4. Size of ram is less.
5. Incompatible with the version of windows. etc.

The best solution would be to download the software after checking your windows version, either 32 bit or 64 bit.
If the version is correct then try downloading it from somewhere else and re-install it.
This will help solving this problem.

Fatal error occurred with System Preparation Tool

Hi,

The setuperr.log file is creating problem. The error might have occurred in LaunchDll, RunExternalDlls or WinMain. The error might have occurred while executing slc.dll, or registering Sysprep DLL, or while processing sysrep generalizing providers. The setuperr.Log file is located in Panthers folder and you can get access to it from there. It might be that Windows software licensing Rearm program might have been run in a single windows image file more than 3 times. In that case this problem might arise. You need to check these and the problem will be solved.
