Now we have access to these camera updates,

How about some installation instructions for the folk who don't have the "memory card slot" on their computers?

As it must be very different for them to install them?

The procedure for updating a camera differs with the each type. Since you haven't mentioned the camera you use, I will list the general procedure used for updating most of the camera's :

i) Download the update from the camera's website to the computer.

ii) Make sure that the camera's battery is 100% charged.

iii) Back up the pictures/videos in your camera by connecting it to the PC using a USB cord. The pictures can be copied automatically using the software that comes with the camera or can be done manually by selecting the files from the camera's folder and copying it to the required location/

iv) Update the camera using the camera's software suite.

v) Follow the instructions while update is running.

v) Unplug the camera once the update is complete.
