Failure to set times on Volumes/Programs-1/Music/iTunes/TV Shows

Hello experts,

I found this problem a few weeks back, but I did not find any solution.

Error codes: 1700 : 1700 : 22
Error: rsync: set_file_attrs: failed to set times on "/Volumes/Programs-1/Music/iTunes/TV Shows": Invalid argument (22)

File system troubles can stop CCC from making transforms to a folder’s file system entry. Unluckily, Disk Utility cannot detect as well as fix these types of problems. It just checks the condition of file system entries, it does not have any ability to create changes to them. Just click the "?" key for a lot of troubleshooting ideas for this problem.

I don't know how to solve this error. Please help.

Thanks a lot.

Dear Jem ,

You must  address this problem on the machine that is hosting the network sharepoint:

If the PC hosting the sharepoint is a Mac, you can modify ownership and permissions in the Get Info panel for that folder:

  1. In the Finder, click on the folder whose permissions or ownership you would like to change.
  2. Choose "Get Info" from the File menu.
  3. In the "Sharing & Permissions" section at the bottom, click on the lock icon to make the permissions editable.
  4. To change permissions, choose "Read & Write" from the popup menu next to the owner of the file or folder.
  5. If the owner of the item is not the user account that you use to connect to this Macintosh, click on the "+" button
  6. In the window that appears, select the user account that you use to connect to this Macintosh, then click the Select button.
  7. Set the access privileges to "Read & Write".
  8. Click on the Gear menu and choose to apply the change to enclosed items.
  9. Try your backup task again.

Thanks.
