I have heard that Face book is going to start their new app center for all users. Are the apps free or paid? How will they maintain their apps quality?

Facebook is going to open their own app center

The Facebook App Center is a one-stop shop for hundreds of apps such as Draw Something, Instagram and other popular social networking apps. It is said that the center will open with about 600 apps available. The center will be available on the Web, on Google's Android and Apple's iOS operating systems. In addition to the free apps available in the center, Facebook, for the first time, will be offering paid apps. Facebook said developers of apps are given the option of charging a one-time fee for their apps.  Facebook’s Adam Brady said that many developers have been successful with in-app purchases and to support more types, they will give developers the option to offer paid apps. And in order to maintain the quality of their apps, the center will only include those apps of good quality based on feedback from people who use them and they will also offer personalized suggestions to users based on their interests.
