While trying to transcode a MPEG-2 MXF file into Apple ProRes 422 HQ using Episode 6.1.2 installed on my Mac OS X Snow Leopard system I received the following error message: “Exporter Error: No frames in Queue nr. 0.” What does this means? However, they do accept certain Mpeg file. But I cannot identify any difference between those that are accepted and not. Any help will be appreciated.

The problem that you are experiencing seems to be caused by the version of the XDCAMEX that you are using. It seems like the XDCAMEX version e using is an MP4 in an MPEG2 wrapper.

What you will note is that the episode has no capability of supporting this format out of the box  and therefore you will need to consider using a3rd party plug-in on your computer that can be able to support that application on the apple computer that you are using.

Otherwise the error could be a metadata issue, and therefore you will need to check that and solve it if that is the case.
