Your expertise on MS Dynamics beta would be greatly appreciated. I am very new to this so please bear with me. I already installed this in my computer. When I installed the database, it said that I couldn't link with the server database. However, I could connect with R2 previously. I already tried the setting to permit the administrator, tried to create new servers, but all to no avail. What went wrong? What should I do?

If the previous database was able to link with the server without bringing up the error that you are getting right now, then the problem is probably being caused by the settings that you are using on the MS Dynamics application that you installed. I will suggest that you try the following workaround:

  • Make sure that you have configured the MS Dynamics beta to be able to use the settings like the ones you were using previously before you installed that version.
  • The MS Dynamics being beta version, then there could be some important system components that are missing, and therefore I will suggest that you get the full version and install it.
