Exchange server idea for everybody

Though the exchange is a mail server but not in use the POP or IMAP systems.

It also integrates some extra ordinary element like electronic mail, calendaring, contacts etc.

We know Exchange can be purchased from Microsoft Company but which version will be more beneficial?
