Error on yahoo search please help!

Does anyone in here encountered yahoo search error? I can open yahoo search in my browser but I can't use the yahoo search. Every time I search on yahoo an error will occur and tells me that the requested URL could not be retrieved.

I can open and use any other yahoo sites like yahoo mail and yahoo jobs except the yahoo search. What should I do? Help me please. Many thanks!

Error on yahoo search please help!

 

Hello there!

 

If the site is not working for you, try to clear all your cookies and your browser's cache. Try also using a different browser if you have another one. Check also your Proxy option.

 

You can usually see it on Tools (Wrench for Google Chrome) > Options (Internet Options on other browsers) > Connections Tab (Network Tab / Under the Hood) > Settings (Change Proxy Setting / LAN Settings).

 

Just make sure that word like “Use a Proxy Server for your LAN. ” is unchecked. Then try going to yahoo again. I hope this helps.

Hi Benjie,

Try clearing your browser cookies and the page preferences that you might have set in the browser. Just go to tools in the browser menu and clear recent browsing history – ensure you check the boxes for caches, page preferences, cookies, browsing and download history and active plugins. You can ignore checking the option for saved passwords.

Also if you are using a web accelerator then you should try turning it off and see what the response is. Visit the following link to view a number of other possible causes to the same problem:
