Error while installing update of JRE 24

Hi,

I have been trying to solve my problem for two days but could not. I had an older version of java when I tried to install update JRE 24 then it fails every time with “Internal Error 2753.regutils.dll”. I tried many times to solve this issue Now please help me to fix this issue.

Error while installing update of JRE 24

Hello Donald,

The following steps should help you resolve the issue that you are getting:

• First, you will need to uninstall all older versions of Java and then install latest versions from java.com. For more information on how to uninstall the older versions of java from your computer, visit the following page: http://www.java.com/en/download/faq/remove_olderversions.xml
• After you have uninstalled the older versions of java, you will need to get rid of the java folder from C:Program FilesJava
• After that try an offline installation of the jre6update24 from here: http://www.oracle.com/splash/java/fw_error.html?referenceerror=18.95111cb8.1515335506.3d9b26e6&referer=http://www.oracle.com/splash/java/fw_error.html?referenceerror=18.95111cb8.1515335506.3d9b26e6&referer=http://www.java.com/en/download/windows_offline.jsp
