Error when using Intuit Statement Writer with QuickBooks in Win 7

Hi,

We are using Intuit Statement Writer with QuickBooks in the office so I tried installing these in my laptop with Windows 7. I tried reinstalling QuickBooks as instructed in the error message but the same thing happened. I am not a techie person so deleting or renaming files as suggested by forums scares me.  

Can somebody here from this forum provide a step by step procedure on how to solve the problem?

Hi SusanB,

To be able to Intuit Statement Writer with QuickBooks, make sure that you meet all the requirements before installing it.

Intuit Statement Writer System Requirements are the following:

  • Hard Disc should be 2GB space free
  • 4 GB RAM for Windows 7
  • Processor should be 2.4 GHz dual core AMD or Intel
  • High resolution 19" monitor
  • Should have 32x-cd ROM
  • Network connection should be at least 10/100. Not recommending wireless networking

If you have meet all these requirements, there should be no problem installing Intuit Statement with your Windows 7.
