Error When Updating CA Anti-Virus Plus

I have a small issue. I get a database error that says, “DataBase outdated and unable to update.”

I tried reinstalling the program but it still gives me the same error message.

The specs are given below along with the screenshot.

Version 1.50.1.1100

Program Error Updating (122,0,Multibytetowidechar)

 The data area passed to a system call is too small.

 PC Vista Ultimate SP2

 Windows Firewall

 CA Anti-Virus Plus"

Error When Updating CA Anti-Virus Plus

 

Dear Tymoore,

You said that the error says, " Database outdated and unable to update". I you really need to fix it then i will request you to download the latest version of this software or an update version of this software. the software’s version you are using to update the virus definition file is no more accessible in the web portal. as a result your virus definition search engine is noy supporting. try o download a new update version and install it. I am sure you will be able to update this time. I hope this will help you.
