Hello,

Recently I made some changes in my Windows hoping my PC will run easily and I will get better performances. It worked fine for two days when this morning I got this error. Can anyone help me to fix this please without reinstalling my Windows? Can this be solved without losing any data?

Error was encountered when opening the flies for this DVR event

If an update caused this error in your application, you can try restoring your computer to an earlier state the time before you installed the Windows update. This method relies on system restore points and can only restore your computer to an earlier state if there is an available restore point on that time. To try this, click Start, All Programs, Accessories, System Tools, and select System Restore. See image.

The option “Restore my computer to an earlier time” is selected by default so just hit on the Next button. See image.

Find the date before you installed the Windows update, select an available restore point listed on that date and click Next. See image.

Read and understand the information on the next screen and click Next. Follow the instructions until the restoration is complete. If this doesn’t work, try reinstalling the affected application or update it to the latest version.
