Hello!

I just bought a Sprint locked 8330, and I tried to unlock it.

I am facing difficulties at the part where I have to read on memory the SPC/MSL number and I read lots of forums and lessons on trying to open it.

CDMA tools are used by me and when I try to read a file and create the. bin file from memory I get the following error message:

Read error at address 0x1067ED90

I really need a solution on this.

Any help will be greatly appreciated.

I have read so many tutorials but can’t find any solution.

Error trying to receive SPC/MSL code using CMDA Tools:

Please follow the below mentioned steps to Unlock Sprint 8330

Turn on your 8330 with your current SIM Card.
Navigate to Settings > SIM card and press Select.

Keep holding the SHIFT key and type mepd (It is to be borne is mind that the text will not appear on the screen while typing these letters).Now you would see 5 locking categories being listed.

While holding theSHIFT key type mep2 (It is to be borne is mind that the text will not appear on the screen while typing these letters).Now release the SHIFT key.

Enter the network MEP code if prompted to do so.
Enter the unlock code.
Enter Return/Enter.

The phone should be unlocked.
