Error seen while upgrading my iPhone up to iOS 5.1

Hi,

I need some help on this. I was trying to upgrade my iPhone up to iOS 5.1, but while I was downloading it, I received this error message, which I have attached. I had rechecked whether my internet and network settings were correct, but I still received this error message.

iTunes

There was a problem downloading the software for the

iPhone "jim's iPhone". The network connection timed out.

 

Make sure your network settings are correct and your network

connection is active, or try again later.

 

                                                                              OK

Any suggestion is appreciated.

Error seen while upgrading my iPhone up to iOS 5.1

Hi,

You may try reopening iTunes and reconnecting to the internet. It is possible that you are connected to the internet, but with a very slow connection. It is also possible that iTunes was down at that moment. If you are sure that you did not change any configurations on your iTunes and Internet connection, you just have to try again. If the solution above will not work, you may also try reinstalling iTunes.
