Error opening my file in Mplayer

Hi All,

A fatal error appears in screen when playing movie in MPlayer. I’m not sure if I forgot something to be added in mplayer. I installed mplayer in Ubuntu 7.04 64 bits. I can play the mplayer in my other unit using Fedora. Is there something wrong with my video in Ubuntu? Any ideas? Thanks in advance.

Error opening my file in Mplayer

It seems there are important plug-ins that required for the video to play and they are missing. I will suggest that you install the Mplayer plugin which you can get by downloading from the following site. Make sure that it is the latest version

With this plug-in installed, you will be able to play videos from different browsers without receiving such kind of errors as the ones you are receiving now. You may also need to install some additional codecs just in case they may be required by some browsers for the videos to play, and for that you will need to go to the  MPlayer Download page, and the you will download the essential codes package which you will install them in /usr/local/lib/win32 on your computer.
