After downloading and installing the Pokey software and drivers successfully when opening the program Launch Jan presented the error BOX DRIVER NOT INSTALLED where the warning error screen is attached.
Run the file to correct FBUS error, because the micro is not identifying the FTDI driver of the dongle.
Steps to do the correction
1) Disconnect the Pokey dongle from the USB port of the micro.
2) Execute the reg file to fix FBUS error. (file in attachment).
3) Restart the machine.
4) Connect the dongle to the micro USB port.
5) Run the launch JAF software again.
If you recently installed a driver for a hardware you recently added to your computer, the error is probably due to the fact that you did not restart the computer after installing the driver. Most of the time, but not always, a system restart is required after installing a driver. In your case, try restarting your computer.
If this doesn’t work, check the Device Manager if there is no error in the devices. Click “Start” then right-click “Computer” and select “Manage”. In “Computer Management” window, select “Device Manager” on the left pane. On the right, check for items with yellow exclamation marks. If you see one, check if it is the device you installed then just uninstall and reinstall the driver.
If this doesn’t work, try updating the driver. Visit the website where you downloaded the driver and check for a new version and make sure that version supports your operating system.
