Hey friends,

I am facing a terrible problem when I uninstall an application in the computer. The problem triggered when I try to uninstall the MP3 converter, I was stuck up with an error message. I am not able to uninstall it completely. Please help me. Your help is great. Thanks in advance.

An error occurred while trying to remove program

I think this error message has something to do with applications that are based on Java. However, you need to be specific on which program you are trying to uninstall. As some of the solutions will require you to delete the program through registry, since you said that you are unable to uninstall it completely. Anyway, to try fixing this issue, you can follow the steps below:

Method 1:

1. Install and run TweakUI.

2. Under TweakUI, click the Add/Remove tab and then choose which program you want to remove and then click the Remove button.

3. Close TweakUI.

Method 2:

Note: Remember to back up your computer before proceeding. Modifying your registry can cause harm to your computer if done incorrectly.

1. Click Start and then Run and type Regedit.

2. On Registry Editor window, navigate to the key below:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINESOFTWAREMicrosoftWindowsCurrentVersionUninstall.

3. And then choose the program that you wish to uninstall.
