Have you any idea about the Zotero error? I do not feel good getting this error. It says “An error occurred communicated with Zotero. Please ensure firefox is open and try again”.
Can you guide me to fix the problem?

Hello Peng,
The issue is something probably to do with the internet connection. Check if you are using two different ones, for instance work and home and just stick to one for the two maybe causing the issue. Also try clearing the browser cache and see if that will resolve the issue.

This error occurred because the style or version you are using no longer exists. Debug the broken document/s to see where the error comes. Open the document preference by way of Zotero plug-in toolbar (double check the Track Changes feature in Open Office is disable). You should make a copy of your documents for debugging. Now open the copied file and see if there’s an error upon switching. You see the error?
To fix this, copy the document content (not the documents file), this will let you open the Document Preference Window.

This error appears to be internet connection related. If you are using a Wi-Fi router, try restarting your router. If the router has a power button, press it to turn it off then unplug it from the power for about ten to twenty seconds (10 – 20). Press any button on the router to drain any leftover power or to power cycle.
After this, plug the router back to the power and turn it on. Try also downloading Zotero again. Go to Zotero Downloads to get the latest. If you are using the Zotero Connector, make sure you have the latest Firefox browser. Go to the Mozilla Firefox homepage to get the latest.
