Yeah I know the problem is supposed to be so obvious that I shouldn’t post but guess what, Firefox IS running and I still get these error message friends:
Zotero – Error
An error occurred communicating with Zotero. Please ensure Firefox is open and try again.
Ok

Zotero is a free application. It Is very easy to use. It has tool to help you collect, organize, cite, and share the research sources. It is work with the web browser.
This is happens because of the problem with compatibility of Firefox and the Zetero application.
My first tip is to re install the Firefox and Zetero and try again. Perhaps It will solve the problem.
I also had this error and this way I solve my problem.
My friend got the same problem and he solved it by just restarting the Operating System. I don’t know how this happened.
