Hello all,

I am unable to use the Service.msc active. It is displaying this Error message:

One or more ActiveX controls could not be displayed because either:

1. Your current security settings prohibit running ActiveX on this page, or

2. You have blocked a publisher of one of the controls.

As a result, the page might not display correctly.

Want to get rid of it. Please help me.

Thanks.

Regarding with this query most windows 7 operating system service.msc, or gpedit.msc also with regedit do not open directly even if you log-in as administrator of the system.

When you perform this task, warning a message will pop-up saying one or more active control could not be loaded with the following error.

1. Your current security setting prohibit running active x control on this page.
2. You have blocked a publisher of one of the following control as a result the page might not display correctly same as image below,

To solve and get rid of this error message please follow steps below,

1.       Click start button

  •  All programs
  •  Accessories
  •  Click run

2.       Type regedit and hit enter

  • HKEY CURRENT USER
  • SOFTWARE
  • MICROSOFT
  • WINDOWS
  • CURRENT VERSION
  • INTERNET SETTINGS
  • ZONES

3.       Look for a key which name is not encoded in numeric characters and delete

4.       Exit on the registry editor

And it’s all done, Hope it helps with your problem.
