Hi Jose,
     There must a conflict on the software and a windows file, what you can do is eliminate all conflict by doing a clean install, delete all installed files from Root drive > Program Files > Autodesk > Maya2010, do the same with Program Data and then navigate on the current profile on the computer and remove Maya2010 folder. After that try to run the installation again, and this should go through without problems. I would also suggest for you to run a repair on the .Net framework on the computer to make sure all components are running.
