Hi,

Today this error appeared when I was trying to to run my game Borderlands 2. I don’t know what happened since yesterday worked just fine. I don’t want to reinstall the game because it takes a lot of time. Can anyone help me to repair my game and please explain me what I did wrong ?

Every time an error like this happens the first thing to check is the compatibility of the software since it is more likely similar to an internal error. But after checking with the game, there is obviously no incompatibility going on between the video game and your system. Borderlands 2 supports Windows XP Service Pack 3, Windows Vista, and Windows 7.

The game also requires installing programs such as the Steam Client, Microsoft .NET Framework 4, Microsoft Visual C++ Redistributable 2005, Microsoft Visual C++ Redistributable 2008, Microsoft Visual C++ Redistributable 2010, and AMD CPU drivers but this is only for Windows XP and if you are using AMD. But these software don’t need to be installed manually because it is already included in the package when you buy it and are automatically installed.

And also, the memory of your graphics adapter should be ranging from 256 MB or 512 MB and higher. Most of the users that experience this kind of error when playing Borderlands 2 have the same denominator; they are all using the German version putting the game, of course, in German language. I don’t know if this will work on you but try changing the game’s language from German to English like one user did when it finally worked.
