What could be the problem.
It could be that your domain name has a duplicate name on the said provider. Another possible answer would be that your domain name is not anymore accessible in the network due to administrative restrictions on the side of your domain provider.

If you’re using Windows 2008 domain controllers, it would just not install an additional domain controller to join 2003 domain. That’s why this error message appears, ‘A domain controller could not be contacted for the domain that contains an account for this computer.’ Find the Access this Computer from the Network. Do this; manually add the computer account for the new domain controller. And try to test your computer.
