Hey! I’ve been trying to load a copy protected DVD using cyberlink power DVD but every time I do, I receive an “error f4d41436”.  The error log states that the out port of my display card is not functioning correctly. I am currently using an RCA flat screen. Can someone help me fix this? Thanks a bunch!

I haven’t encountered this yet with my copyrighted video CDs. When you load a DVD disc, the media player only tries to play it using your computer’s installed hardware and loads optional video accelerators if required and supported. This problem doesn’t have to do with your display screen because this is only used to display the contents of the DVD disc. I think the problem here is between your CyberLink PowerDVD and your graphics card. I am also a long-time user of CyberLink PowerDVD and I haven’t encountered this problem yet.

Try doing a clean installation of CyberLink PowerDVD to restore it to its default configuration and possibly fix any corrupted files that may have developed in the long run and is already affecting the program. Uninstall CyberLink PowerDVD then check your computer for any possible errors. Use a disk utility application to check the system. Restart your computer after this. After booting, install CyberLink PowerDVD again and then check if this fixes the problem.

If the problem continues, try reinstalling your video card’s driver.
