 Hi,

maybe the database of the pictures and videos is corrupted.

Solution number 1:

Rebuilt your database:

Click  on Start, go to My Computer, paste this address in the address field:

%userprofile%Local SettingsApplication DataMicrosoftWindows Live Photo Gallery.

Then Right-click on Pictures.pd5, click on Rename and then change the file name to OLD_Pictures.pd5.

Open Windows Live Photo Gallery.

Solution number 2:

Run the check disc command from Windows Recovery Environment.

Solution number 3:

And another advice is: to run SFC Scan and check if it resolves the problem. Use the checker tool SFC.exe to understand which file is causing the problem.

How to do that:

Click on Start, click on All programs, then on Accessories and right-click on Command Prompt and then click on Run as administrator.

Maybe you will need to type a password or click Allow. In the following command type the following: sfc /scannow and press ENTER.

There can be many reasons for this problem. The main reason for this problem is if you are downloading or viewing the images from another source or you are using another device to access your pictures in this kind of problem you can solve your problem by configuring the device your are using to access your pictures. Make sure that you are properly connected to the device you are using to access pictures.

The second reason for this problem can be that you have no VGA card installed properly in your system so also check your VGA drivers to make sure that they are working properly. To check your VGA card go to START and then to RUN/SEARCH and type dxdiag and press enter now in new window go to display tab and now perform all the test available in your display tab. Once you have done all the tests you will be able to see that your VGA is working properly or not.

The third thing i can ask you is that install a software in your computer for picture viewing such a software can be downloaded from internet. There are many software available also in market so you can choose one as you demand.
