Error Creating Installation Directory on Uncharted Waters Installation

I just downloaded an online game named Uncharted Waters, making sure its destination was C.

A few minutes into the installation  an error appears. See the image below.

How could this happen, when I made sure where to save it. I’m using windows xp.

Please help me fix this error.

Error Creating Installation Directory on Uncharted Waters Installation

Hi,

This can happened for several reasons:

1. Check that your C: drive has enough space to download and install the game. If not, this error can occur.

2. What kind of account are you using – a domain account or a standard user account ? Sometimes the 'user' account may not have the correct permissions to install software.

3. Check your virus guard settings. Some virus software may not allow programs to carry out modifications to the computer.

4. It can be also be a problem with your download. Try to download the software again.

Hi Gregthomas,

Thanks that you have shared your problem with us. I hope you will satisfy on this solution.

Dear in this regard you have to check only two things.

First please check that the copy of the software you are trying to install is completed.

Because some times some files are skipped when the package software is being packed.

And then check your drive for free space. This error mostly occurs when there is no free room to make a directory.

Kindly check your space, clean some files then reinstall, or try to choose a different partition.
