Good day, I am facing a problem with my Acrobat Reader 9.0 version. I downloaded the update for this software in my windows 7. But when I try to install the updates, it failed with an error message showing “error code 1602”. I was unsuccessful after trying some solutions in the help tab. If you can help me please answer. Thanks in advance.

Hi,

These workarounds have the possible to negatively affect additional software and subsisting workflows. Therefore, Adobe commends that only arrangement administrators execute these stairs. Make sure that whole parent folders for Application Data allow read access for the essential users. Affirm that each exploiter has read permits for each directory in the route and that your GPO policy isn't overruling these permits. Adobe accredits that this workaround is not optimum in a few endeavor settings. On Windows 7, the Application information folder's "Everyone" accounts has a particular permit of "refuse". Remove the checkmark for Deny.

Map UNC tracks such as \hostvisibility%USERNAME% to a drive letter such as U:visibility%USERNAME%.

On windowpanes 7 and Vista platforms, affirm the Local Low directory subsists at C:exploiters<exploiter>AppData with Read and compose permits.

The Acrobat family of products does not support casting Profiles. However, definite workflows and conformations can work by default or by applying one of the workarounds above.

The 9.4 accumulative update alters this behavior so that the application doesn't check for permits on nurture folders.
