Error Code 100 Remedy

I am not able to install the update named “Microsoft .NET Framework 3.5 Service Pack 1 and .NET Framework 3.5 Family Update (KB951847) x86”. I have antispyware, firewall, etc., but I have disabled them. Have tried restarting, it denies to install. I get error code 100. Why?

Error Code 100 Remedy

You can refer here via the link to the Microsoft KB article to download the Windows Installer CleanUp Utility. While loading it, save and put it on your desktop. Then right click msicuu2.exe (for Windows Installer CleanUp Utility) and Run as administrator. Install the Windows Installer CleanUp Utility. Now go to Start. All Programs. Windows Installer CleanUp Utility. Try locating and remove .Net Framework software. Reboot your computer. Download and enjoy the update
