I failed to set up  SQL Server due to the above mentioned error. The error code is Error code 0×85640004.
It is related with the setting CTLRUSERS in validation.
Please help.
SQL Server Setup has encountered the following error:
There was a failure to validate setting CTLRUSERS in validation function ValidateUsers.
Errorcode 0x85640004
The above screenshot gives a clear idea about the problem I am facing. I think it is a critical error with SQL Server Setup.

I think you facing this problem because of little bit failure of some important thing on this set up file.
My idea for you here please swiftly do this set up process and take care on any kind of data that much need able here not to be lose.
Just do it properly and i think the problem that you facing would be for this error code.
Please find the right code first then try this again and hope you can able to do your set up process properly.

I did a search on Google by your error message.
I several suggested forum posts result exactly from your error message.
As they suggest you should not encounter any problem with working on SQL
Server if you just ignore this message and continue with the installation.
