Hello,

I am getting this error code 0x800ccc90 and I need a help for this.

Here are more details on this.

I got some feedback from Windows Live assistant named Glenda. She said me to send a snapshot of the error but my system did not let me upload as she wanted. I have windows live 2011 essentials.

Unable to send or receive messages for the Optusnet.com (gman90) account. The email server returned an error.

Server Error: 0x800CCC90

Server Response: -ERR Cannot establish TLS with POP server 211.29.132.250:110, SSL_connect error 10054

Server: 'mail.optusnet.com.au'

Windows Live Mail Error ID: 0x800CCC90

Protocol: POP3

Port: 110

Secure(SSL): No

This is the error. Help me to solve this.

The error you're getting means that there was an invalid response from the server and because of that you aren't able to login to the mail server. It is most likely the temporary issue that will be resolved by itself.
 
Just in case it is a rare bug, make sure your OS is all up to date with all needed service packs. Also make sure that you are using the right username and password as that could cause the error you're getting.
