I downloaded and installed Adobe Digital Edition completely. However, on opening the program, it executed an “Error Activating” below. I uninstalled it and reinstalled it again alongside rebooting the system.
This did not fix the problem and still it did not open.
What should I do to fix this problem?

It is more likely that your system clock that is used dating the request is more than six hours off, and therefore you will need to rectify that. In case you reset your clock to a correct time, you should not get this problem.

Try downloading the program again because the software is now free for everybody. Download the free version of Revo Uninstaller and install it. Once installed, start Revo then select Adobe Digital Editions among the applications and click “Uninstall”. Follow the normal uninstall process. When uninstall is complete, click “Scan” to scan your computer for any leftover files and delete everything it finds.
This removes everything the program created on your computer. When it is finished, exit Revo then download Adobe Digital Editions. If the program still requires activation, make sure your internet connection is active when activating the product. The software is available for Microsoft Windows, Macintosh, iOS, and Android.
