Hello. I have a Dell Inspiron laptop that has windows 7 in it. I am using Internet Explorer 10 to browse the internet and it keeps on giving me the error "500 – Internet Server Error". Is there something wrong with my ISP provider server? What server is it talking about?

The “500 Internal Server Error” is a very common HTTP status code which means something has gone wrong on the website’s server but the server cannot identify what the exact problem is. This problem is on the server side which you have no control over. If you encounter this problem on a website you visited, there are few things you can try to troubleshoot the problem.

Try to refresh the page by pressing F5 or CTRL + F5 to force refresh. If this doesn’t work, try clearing your browser’s cache as well as delete your browser’s cookies. If this, too, didn’t work, try visiting the site again the next time. It is probably completely down at the moment.
