ERROR 225 Printer Cannon MF 4320d

My Printer is Cannon MF 4320d series Ian using it for 3 years Recently I refilled cartridge it doesn't work Properly.

I sent it into canon service center. After two week they give back . Photo copy and Printer work normally. But Scanner function did not work It shows ERROR 225

Please some body can help me to come out of this error?

ERROR 225 Printer Cannon MF 4320d

Dear Ayswaria,

This error is very common and can be fix just by updating your firmware to the latest version. Each printer had their own firmware once installed on your computer. You can download or update it from the link provided below:

ERROR 225 Printer Cannon MF 4320d

Hi,

Your Canon MF 4320d scanner is faulty and may be caused by one of the following:

• The  scanning lamp (xenon tube) is faulty.
• The inverter PCB is faulty.
• The CCD/AP PCB is faulty.
• The reader controller PCB is faulty.

Since these are all hardware related, Please call them back and have your unit serviced.

ERROR 225 Printer Cannon MF 4320d

If the printer is still under warranty, you should bring it back to the Canon service center to service it again. In Canon printer, error code “E225” means the intensity of the lamp light is not sufficient. To fix the problem, try to turn off and then turn on the printer several times. See if this works. If this doesn’t work, you have to check it manually.

Check the connection between the main controller PCB and the CIS unit. If this doesn’t work, replace the CIS unit. If the problem continues, replace the main controller PCB.
