Hi there,

When I try to install Microsoft Dynamics NAV 5.0 SP 1 on the machine and the operating system is Microsoft Windows 7, an error message is received. The error code is 1935. Please find below the screenshot for your reference.

Hi James,

I must say Microsoft Dynamics NAV 5.0 SP 1 is a dynamic software. The error code 1935 that you are getting has its own meaning and reasons. Some of the reasons are you didn’t install MS SQL Server as a part of the MS Dynamics NAV installation options. To overcome this problem it’d be better if you install Microsoft Visual C++ 2005 Service Pack 1 ( Redistributable Package ). You can find MS Visual C++ from the following site:

Hi.

To resolve that problem you need to perform full update of your system and you have to download and install Microsoft Visual C++ 2005 Service Pack 1 x86. X86 version of this packages has to be installed even if you are installind Dynamics NAV on x64 PC. Microsoft Visual C++ 2005 x86 can be fount on following link Microsoft Visual C++ 2005.

When you encounter this error, it means that the Microsoft Windows Installer had an error over trying to install assemblies to the Global Assembly Cache(GAC) or the Win32 GAC. To solve this You need to clear the transaction log:

1. Run The command Prompt as Administrator. Go to Start, All programs, Accessories, then right Click Command Prompt and select Run as Administrator

2. In the Command Prompt type in the following:

     fsutil resource setaoutoreset true C:

This assumes that drive C: is where you have installed Vista. If not insatlled on that drive, for example D:, change it appropriately.

3. Restart the system

4. Install the program again

If this didn't solve the problem, maybe an antispyware, antivirus. To solve This:

1. Disable your antispyware and/or antivirus properly before installation

2. Install again. If this didn't solve this,

3. Remove any spyware or adware using taskmanager's processes tab. for example, the "wtools.exe".
