Error 1606 when installing nero express 10

Hi to all,

I have been trying to remove and reinstall the latest version of Nero express 10 but every time it results in an error. The screenshot of the error is as follows:

Nero Express 10

Error 1606. Could not access network location %PUBLIC%Desktop

Can anyone please tell me what does this error 1606 means and how can I remove it?

Your help will be highly appreciated.

Error 1606 when installing nero express 10

Hi,

When settings of registry entries in your computer incorrect you will get this error to solve this go to start button desktop click run find regedit.exe and search for HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE folder find software folder search Microsoft folder and then find office then expand your version and right click on file then choose delete.
