Hi,

When I open my personal computer or laptop, I am having an oversight meaning double indicating "error ccc.exe, application error0xc000007b" press All right to be able to discourage. In addition to "windows came across an issue with regsvr.exe and needs to close, send out problem report to 'Microsoft'."

I am trying to understand the true reason that this matter happens? Is it because of its OS Win7 32 bit? I am not aware how exactly these problems started off… I don't have anti-virus. Will you please recommend an answer? I cannot really understand what the problem is.

Please suggest how to eliminate this error and recommend a high performing antivirus also.

Thank you.

Hello Ariel.

Your problem is not at all related to a virus infection, don't worry.

The application "ccc.exe" is the AMD/ATI Catalyst Control Center.  It is the management software for your AMD/ATI graphics hardware.  Based on the error that you describe, you are experiencing a driver error.  The best way to fix it would be to uninstall the old driver and install a new one.  You can download the latest driver here:

http://support.amd.com/en-us/download

The above URL will let you download a utility from AMD that will automatically detect your graphics hardware and download the appropriate drivers for it.

As for the antivirus, I recommend avast! Antivirus.  It is free but performs well in protecting your system.
