Epson EX 310 Will Not Print In Color

I have been using my Epson EX 310 for the last month when it has stopped printing all together.  I do not need black ink so when I ran out I assumed that it would still print with the color cartridges.  My last inkjet would keep printing if the print job did not have a need for black ink.  Is there a way to get this one to  print without a black ink cartridge?

Epson EX 310 Will Not Print In Color

Hello Tyrone!

This is a common issue in any of the available printer. It will not print if all ink cartridges do have sufficient ink levels to print. Most of the manufacturers do this for sales/and or marketing strategies. It’s quite frustrating because combining the left over ink cartridges can still produce black print outs. Use the utility disc or the installer cd and reinstall or modify the settings for your printer. There’s an option that says “Print in Gray Scale” or similar to it and finish the installation. Restart your computer and try to print again.
