error code 0xc004c008 flashes on the screen all the time. This is causing my system to crash everytime and the software has become sluggish. How do I solve this?
Press plus hold the “Windows” button and the “R” button to open the “Run” window. If you use Windows 8.1 or Windows 10 system,you can open the run Windows from Start menu as well. You need to then write in the “Run” window, the command: “SLUI 4”. You will now have a “Phone Activation” that will open after the above said. The stop message will then troubleshoot.
You may encounter error code “0xC004C008” when activating Microsoft Windows 10. The error code is accompanied by the message, “We can’t activate Windows on this device because the product key was already used on another device. If you think it wasn’t used on another device, select Troubleshoot below”. This error is triggered by the activation server.
It is aware that the product key used to activate Windows 10 may have been used on multiple computers. When you install either Windows 8.1 or Windows 10 a couple of times, this error code is thrown because the license for Windows 8.1 or Windows 10 can only be installed on one device.
If you verify that the product key you used to activate your operating system has not been used on any device, restart your computer several times then try doing the activation process. Some activation errors can be resolved this way.
