DVD lab shows error while making subtitles

Hello,

I am working on a project making subtitles but now an error message appears every time I try to test any sub file. The error says “Error generating subtitle stream”. I also checked the timing and everything is correct but the error still remains. What should I do now to fix it ASAP? If you have any idea please share with me. I would be grateful to you. Thanks in advance.

Hi John,

The error message prompts that the timing might be wrong – so you might want to check if your subtitles have correct time. If you set a starting time greater than ending time it is definitely not going to work. 

Also, you can check out some other programs that would make subtitles just to see if the problem happens too. Here is an example.
