Duplicate IDs were found while reading the file

Hello troubleshooters,

In DAZ Studio Pro 4.5, I am getting an error message popup repeatedly while I am working in a project. This error is very annoying to me and I am not able to ignore it. The error stated that ‘duplicate IDs were found while reading the file see the log file for more details’. I tried to check the log files but I don’t understand anything from log file. For your information, I have Windows 7 64-bit operating system, 250 GB hard disk and Photoshop CS6. It has been working well earlier I am getting this error from yesterday. Please help me to resolve this error. Thanks.

Duplicate IDs were found while reading the file

You need to check the date of the install file because supposedly it was updated on April 3, 2012. The reason behind this is that they had or DAZ Studio Pro 4.5 and Carrara 8.5 had duplicate ID errors that’s why they needed to update several products in March and April.

If your install file dates around late January, you might want to try resetting it and downloading the installer again. You can fix your problem by downloading the installer again from the official website, DAZ 3D Studio and POSER. Remember, before you can download you need to sign up and create your account to download.

Below is a sample creation using DAZ 3D Studio. See image.

Once downloaded, uninstall DAZ Studio Pro from your computer and run the newly downloaded installer. This should fix the problem. The “duplicate IDs” error is a bug in the early release of the product.
