Dropped Phone Now No Sound

I dropped my iPhone in all things the dogs water bowl. I immediately picked it up and everything seemed to be fine. Then I noticed it has the headphone icon on the screen. I can not get it to clear out so I am not getting any sounds at all including the phone ringing. How to fix it so it does not think I have headphones in?

Hi, Joseph D Saunders  i think the best way of dealing this is to bring your unit to the services center before it will get worst. Water or moisture content inside your phone will not damage right away your phone but in time. It will slowly show. Like what you are dealing now so I suggest to bring it to service center for full body check up. So whatever causing the error in your phone can be fix. Also it will extend the life of your unit.
